Michael Torbenson, LBHS Student

In 2010, Laguna Beach High School students Rory Saunders and Chris Tellez founded Score 4 the Poor. In conjunction with the local AYSO, they collected gently used soccer apparel, shoes,  and balls to donate to those less fortunate in Central and South America, Mexico, and Africa.

Today, Laguna Beach High School students Frankie Mead and Michael Torbenson are continuing the legacy and expanding the program to other Southern California locations.

Love isn't seasonal, which is why our year-round sports clothing drive gets so much attention in our city. Help us out by creating a chapter of Score 4 the Poor in your city! Contact us with your ideas or ways you are making  difference in your city.

Our Mission is to provide children who have so little, and give them something that means so much. Our Sports clothing and shoes have created happiness and smiles that last. We have had great success in the past and hope to continue this for years to come.

Our transporter and good friend, Dave Day, of Grower's First, has really seen this project through and with your help we hope to expand to cover more children by bringing even more donated clothing and shoes than ever before.  With you help we can make this possible!
